Welcome to St Clair School

St Clair School is a state funded, Year 1-6 primary school, with a grading roll of approximately 420 pupils. The school is located in the seaside suburb of St Clair, in Dunedin, New Zealand.

St Clair School has strong tradition of high-quality learning, within a safe, engaging and caring environment. It is recognised for its use of information and communication technology (ICT) to support learning and its outstanding achievement in the Music and Performance Arts. Repeated ERO reviews attest to the high quality of school programmes.

St Clair School was first established in 1896 however the present buildings were constructed in 1977. Significant building redevelopment work has been undetaken recently and the school is recognised for its innovative design and modern learning environment. Extensive use of glass, open space and physical connection provide outstanding facilities for children and staff.
