Welcome to St Clair School

St Clair School is a state funded co-educational primary school, with approximately 385 pupils. The school is located in the seaside suburb of St Clair, in Dunedin, New Zealand.

St Clair School has strong tradition of quality teaching, within a safe and caring learning environment. It is also recognised for its use of information and communication technology (ICT) to support learning and its high level of achievement in the arts.

St Clair School was first established in 1896 however the present buildings were constructed in 1977.

Significant building redevelopment work was undertaken in 2001 (upgrading the school's library, science, technology and music facilities) and again in 2006 (new computer suite constructed and library extended). The school has just embarked on yet another ambitious building project which will radically alter the way the school looks and works, benefiting learners and the community.
