Welcome to St Clair School

St Clair School is a state funded, co-educational primary school, with a grading roll of approximately 385 pupils. The school is located in the seaside suburb of St Clair, in Dunedin, New Zealand.

St Clair School has strong tradition of high-quality teaching, within a safe, engaging and caring learning environment. It is also recognised for its use of information and communication technology (ICT) to support learning and its outstanding achievement in the Music and Performance Arts. Repeated ERO reviews attest to the high quality of all school programmes.

St Clair School was first established in 1896 however the present buildings were constructed in 1977. Significant building redevelopment work was undertaken in 2001 (library, technology and music facilities), in 2006 ( computer suite and library extension) and again in 2010 ( learning atrium - 'Te Manawanui').
