The St Clair PTA is a quiet but efficient group of parents whose main focus is on organising fundraisers for the school. The main fundraisers are the annual school fair (usually held at the end of term 1 each year); an art auction (usually held early in term 3); a school disco (years 3-6 - usually held in term 3); sausage sizzles each term; the scholastic book fair (usually held in term 4) and parent evenings. They are always on the lookout for helpers and committee members if you are interested, please make contact with any of the office holders below.
Andrea has been president of the St Clair School PTA for two years now, and manages the events with calm skills. Her efficient manner and ability to ‘rally the troops’ ensure that every event is smooth and successful. Andrea has three children at St Clair School.
Amanda has joined the PTA team as treasurer this year, and has already proved her skill in systems and accounting. Amanda quietly gets the job done, and ensures the bills are paid and the finances are counted for our PTA. Amanda has one child at St Clair School.
Angela is new to the PTA, joining in 2017, but she has already earned her reputation as gatherer of helping hands to whatever fundraising activity is happening. She is secretary, and general crowd gatherer, both of which she does superbly.
St Clair School PTA Annual Fair
Every year, towards the end of term 1, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) hold an annual fair. This is held in the school grounds, and includes numerous stalls, entertainment, and events. Planning for the fair starts towards the end of the previous year, with members of the wider fair committee organising the stalls. The PTA is always keen to hear from parents and community members who are willing to help out with this community celebration, or who have items they wish to donate to the stalls.
