Brigid Fyfe

Room 18 Team leader

Brigid uses her special skills to enhance the learning of her students.  She is an experienced teacher with very well structured literacy and mathematics programmes and rich learning experiences across the rest of the curriculum.  Brigid has real strengths in Te Ao Māori and leads this by example in her classroom.

Abby Zonneveld

Room 14

Miss Abby is a newly registered teacher, who started her teaching career with us in 2022.  Miss Abby is an energetic and enthusiastic person with a strong sense of team.  Building professional relationships with tamariki, colleagues, whānau and the wider community is important to her.

This year Miss Abby intends to create a stimulating educational environment that nourishes confidence and curiosity.

Scotty joined the Ngaru team in 2021, having worked in the Takutai-iti and Takutai-nui teams in 2019-2020.  Scotty retrained as a primary teacher after previously teaching in the secondary sector.  He brings strengths in digital technology, social sciences and learning through play, as well as a 'can do' attitude and a strong ability to think outside the square.

Christina Gray

Room 16

Miss Gray joined our school in 2020 coming to us from teaching in Wellington.  Miss Gray brings considerable strengths in relationship building and adjusting programmes to ensure they are best suited to meet learners' needs.  She also has strengths in literacy and is a strong advocate for learner agency.  She taught in the Tahatu team in 2022.

Stef Gray-Holland

Room 17

 Ms Holland joined us in 2018, and taught in both Takutai and Ngaru teams over this time.  Ms Holland comes to us after nine years teaching in Auckland.  Ms Holland is a passionate educator who has strengths in her relationship building with children and families, as well as physical education.  Stef's positive attitude is much valued at our school.

Alison Caldwell

Specialised Music  

Alison Caldwell works with all classes once a week providing a specialised music programme.  She is an enthusiastic and capable teacher, and is a highly skilled music specialist.  She has an enthusiasm for her work which sees children achieving high standards within a varied and stimulating music programme.  Ali also coordinates our school marimba, choir, rock band and guitar groups.

Alison is also assisting with our communication regarding Covid-19

Dale Hunter

P.E Specialist Teacher
