Verity Kerr

Team Leader Room 18

Ms Kerr is our associate principal and leads the year 5-6 team.  Ms Kerr has been at St Clair School for 14 years, and has been a strong driver in learner agency.  She has particular strengths in literacy and inquiry learning.  Ms Kerr is a capable practitioner with considerable skill in student management and working with children with diverse learning and behavioural needs.

Ondine Grace

Room 14

Ondine has recently joined St Clair School and is in her second year teaching. Being bilingual in French and English, and having studied Linguistics prior to teaching, she is passionate about everything related to languages and literacy. She believes in student agency and the ability for each tamariki to bring something special to the classroom.

Shannon Tep

Room 17

Mrs Tep has been a valued member of our teaching team since 2012.  She provides a warm and safe environment for our learners and takes pride in building positive relationships with students and their whānau.  Mrs Tep particularly enjoys sharing her passion for te reo Māori with students and staff.

Lana Tall

Room 16

Miss Tall joined our team in 2019 after starting her teaching career in Invercargill.  While Miss Tall is early in her teaching career, she has real strengths as a teacher and a learner.   She connects well with children and adjusts her programmes to meet all needs, and enjoys building relationships with families.

Emma Longmore

Room 15

Mrs Longmore has 15 years of teaching experience across a variety of settings. Most of her experience is in small rural schools, but she is enjoying the change of moving to a bigger, urban school. Mrs Longmore has strengths in teaching Science and Environmental Education. She was a participant teacher in the Royal Society Science Teacher Leadership Programme in 2016. Mrs Longmore also has strong interest in Te Ao and Te Reo Māori.

Alison Caldwell

Specialised Music  

Alison Caldwell works with all classes once a week providing a specialised music programme.  She is an enthusiastic and capable teacher, and is a highly skilled music specialist.  She has an enthusiasm for her work which sees children achieving high standards within a varied and stimulating music programme.  Ali also coordinates our school marimba, choir, rock band and guitar groups.

Alison is also assisting with our communication regarding Covid-19
